Banish lonliness with quality time

With today's technology we are hardly ever alone, we always manage to have contact somehow, even if it is not in real life. This, in turn, is hindering us from being able to handle loneliness, or making us feel more lonely. HOW? you may ask. Well, let me tell you, do we know how to spend some quality time with ourselves? do we have any idea what our needs actually are? As you think to answer this question you may not know how to actually spend that time with yourself. Because you are hardly ever alone to do so.
think about it, when was the last itme you spent time with only you because you really wanted to? We may be home alone but what are we doing? sitting by the computer? letting time slip through our fingers as we grow more tired and zombielike. Tell me, what is it about this time that we actually do for us? Does this really qualify for private time? quality time? for some perhaps...but only you can answer that.

So, how do you discover what you really need then? It's not always so easy, it's like getting to know a knew person. But slowly and surely, regardless of how uncomfortable it might feel, do things YOU enjoy instead of waiting around for people to join you and enjoy it with you. Give yourself what you really need or want. Something you're often thking about, just do it. This way you will be more yourself with those around you because you are not expecting them to give you what you want. You already got it ;) you won't feel lonely because you're not waiting for people to fill up the holes you're not filling yourself with.

For some it may be exercise, for others it might be reading a book, writing in your diary, dancing, listening to certain music or starting creative projects. Things that help us acknowledge our own feelings instead of pushing them away through differing means.  If we don't spend quality time with ourselves, we will feel more lonely whenever we are alone because we don't know how to be with just us. but by all means, donät turn into the lone ranger, people are definalty an awesome attribute to life ;)

Peace out!

bad habits: prioritising

Just as you learned to develope th habit and discipline of brusing your teeth, you can also develope the habit of acting on top prorities. High-priority actions are like flowers. If you don't focus on planting, cultivating and nurturing them, your ggarden f life becomes entangled n low-priority weeds. Each morning before starting your day, decide what the  seven highest priority action steps are that you can do that day and then carry them out.
