Bottom layer ingredients:

1dl almonds
14 seedless dates (just take them out, don't buy the dried dates)
1 tbsp raw coco (or cocopowder)
a pinch of salt.

Diretions:
first ground the nuts seperatly to make then into a nice meal like powder. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix in a blender.  Place the mixure in a dish of choice and make an even layer, placein the frige and wait to add the next layer.

Ingredients Top layer:
2 dl shredded coconut
1 dl natural cashews
1 tbsp honey
finely grated orange peal

Directions:
mix the coconut on its own to make a meal powder. Do the same thing with the cashew nuts. Pour the coconut into a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients and mix with a mixer. If you need more liquid in your mixture, just add a little bit of water or orange juice. plce the mixture on top of the other layer and place in the fridge for an hour

Cut into square peices and springle raw coco ontop. Enjoy!

Frozen yoghurt:

Ingredients:
make sure that all of your fruit is previsouly frozen. Take out your fruits from the freezer, but them in a bowl, add a little bit of mild natural yoghurt (alternatively you could add a bit of coconut oil and coconut milk which is a an even greater idea) , amounting to roughly 3 tbsp. Roughly your fruit vs. youghurt ration should be 3:1. Dribble some honey on the top, mix it together and let the fruits thaw for about ten minutes. Proceed by mixing with a mixer and voila! the less yoghurt you use, the more of an ice cream consistansy you get.
feel free to experiment with the ingredients.

Tip: To get more of a choclate taste, i had a ton of coco (1-2cups) and it comes out tasting like dark choclate = yum!!!

Rosted beetroots with goats cheese:
i have not tried this yet but sounds easy enough and sounds delicious! Great alternative to chips, if that is your craving (it sure is mine). I will make these soon and give you a proper recipe of them.

Why?

In all things we do in life, the most important thing is knowing the reason WHY we do them. Are we aware of why?
My reason WHY i started this blogg is to share tips and ideas, have discussions about things that help us in lifes journey and to get to know ourselves better, the wonderful creatures that we are. Because body and mind are very intertwined and we need to learn to look after, not just parts of ourselves, but all of it.
My aim is to share tips on fitness, health, diet, recipes along with mental health strategies. I will also share outbursts of creativity when inspiration comes to visit.

Welcome to a blogg that aims to make a better and more aware you!

Enjoy and share your own ideas with us here!

Please stay tuned, this is a new sight and will be updated when time permits. It would also be great to know what you would like to see more of in this blog so feel free to comment. Please note that the mental health part will be much larger than it is today.
